Friday Night Flicks

Enjoy the summer weather while watching a popular movie pick. Every Friday night from May through August, spend your night at Booth Amphitheater. For only 5 dollars (and free for children under 12) bring a lawn chair and watch a different movie displayed on the amphitheater stage.

Wind Down Wednesdays

If live music is more your interest, be sure to explore the Wind Down Wednesday events. A summer concert series, every Wednesday from June 6th to August 1st, enjoy a free concert in Waverly Park. Featuring the sounds of local favorites Liquid Pleasure, Hip Pocket, and Soul Psychedelique, this popular concert series caters to every genre imaginable.

The events are free and open to the public, so make it a group outing!

Cary Independence Day Celebration

Celebrate 4th of July with one of the most well-known events in Cary! Start July 3rd at Bond Park Boathouse with all day events including Donut Eating, Lake-Side Olympics, and Seed Spitting. Then head on over to Koka Booth Amphitheatre and kick off Independence Day with a Ferris Wheel, scavenger hunt, and of course—plenty of food offerings!

Be sure to stick around after the sun goes down for the famous fireworks!

Beer and Bourbon and BBQ, Oh My!

If you’re free July 27 or 28 head over to Koka Booth Amphitheater to experience the legendary Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Festival! This traveling festival offers over 40 bourbons and 60 beers with your all-you-can-sample ticket. Pair it with your choice of pork, ribs, brisket, chicken, or sausage and take a picture at the “shrine of swine” for a one-of-a-kind event.

Bands, Bites, and Boats

One Friday a month from April through October, Bond Park Boathouse hosts a mini celebration showcasing local music and food vendors. Bring a lawn chair and soak in your surroundings or bring your boat and float! Paddle boats are also available for rent during these events.
